Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Grants Manager in the healthcare and social assistance industry, located in New Haven, Connecticut. In this role, you will be heavily involved in managing grant accounting, focusing on Federal, State, and Foundation grants, and also assisting with various financial duties.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accounting and reporting processes related to Federal, State, and Foundation grants
• Assist in the completion of month-end close tasks
• Ensure accurate preparation and submission of journal entries
• Carry out account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
• Engage in financial analysis to support decision-making processes
• Utilize Blackbaud and Financial Edge software for financial management
• Employ Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
