Job Details: Job Purpose/Summary: Tyson Chaplains provide compassionate, spiritual care that explores Team Members\' diverse belief and value systems, honors their experiences, and empowers them with resources to enhance function and well-being. This would be for 1st Shift, however, ALL Shifts served by the Chaplain - Flexibility needed to support 1st/2nd/3rd Shift Team Members, although the Salary rate is based on experience, this role does offer, 3 weeks Vacation, a 7% Annual Incentive Plan & about a 3.50% Annual Salary Review, with great benefits, Medical/Vision/Dental available upon day 1 (no waiting period) & a chance to join a great TEAM! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide spiritual and emotional guidance to Team Members and their immediate families while respecting people\'s unique beliefs, values, and experiences. * Maintain a judgment-free presence, inclusive of all faiths, sexual orientations, and ethnicities. * Counsel distressed and bereaved individuals and families while providing helpful strategies for understanding and healing. * Respond to critical incident situations where Team Members or their families have been traumatized. * Maintain confidentiality in all chaplain conversations except for those that reveal risk of injury to self, others, or the business. * Collaborate with HR leadership and the chaplain services\' team to offer educational and social service opportunities that help stabilize Team Members\' personal lives. * Make hospital and home visits to Team Members and immediate family members. * Provide appropriate chaplain presence at memorials and/or funerals of Team Members * Cultivate and maintain a network of referral resources through community partnerships and service providers that can assist in serving the various needs of Team Members * Write articles and/or provide presentations consistent with personal education, experience, and training, as requested by HR or chaplain services leadership. * Serve as an advisor to management on matters of religion, morals/ethics, and Team Member morale and pulse. * Maintain moral and ethical character and conduct that is above reproach and protects the reputational integrity of the company and chaplaincy program. * Keep accurate records of contacts and write required reports assisting leadership in identifying and assessing thematic risk. Requirements: * Education: Minimum requirement Bachelor\'s degree; Master\'s degree preferred . * 4 units of clinical pastoral education OR the willingness to complete 4 units within 2 years of employment) * Clergy endorsement * Chaplain board certification preferred. * Note: Official documentation of degree completion from a CHEA accredited OR international equivalent institution in a content area relevant to chaplaincy - acceptable concentrations would include applicable theological and human science degrees. * Experience: 3-5 years of chaplain experience in a culturally diverse and faith inclusive context is preferred. * Computer Skills:Basic computer and video conferencing skills to include MS Office programs. * Communication Skills: Chaplains must possess English language proficiency - speaking, reading, and writing.
