Immediately Hiring: Procurment and Inventory Manager
Job Description
The Inventory & Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing procurement strategies, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain stock accuracy and availability. This role ensures that all products are sourced efficiently, minimizing costs while maximizing quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Monitoring stock levels to ensure inventory aligns with business needs
Analyzing inventory trends and using data to adjust purchasing strategies
Conducting regular stock audits to maintain accuracy and compliance
Implementing and improving inventory tracking systems to minimize shrinkage and overstock
Generating reports on inventory status, trends, and potential issues
Procurement and Vendor Coordination
Placing purchase orders based on sales forecasts and operational needs.
Developing and refining procurement strategies to balance cost efficiency with timely delivery
Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and quality
Coordinating with vendors to resolve any supply chain issues or delays
Collaboration with Teams
Working closely with sales and operations teams to align procurement strategies with business demands
Partnering with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and on-time deliveries
Strategic Planning and Analysis
Assessing and improving current inventory control and procurement processes
Staying informed on market trends, pricing, and industry standards, particularly in the wine and spirits sector.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensuring compliance with domestic and international import/export regulations
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
Proficient in using inventory management software and ERP systems (NetSuite ERP, Zoho Inventory, Katana, SAP ERP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics 365)
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Knowledge of both domestic and international import/export regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
Excellent organizational and problem solving abilities
Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a fast paced environment
Experience within Wine and Spirits or related industry
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
