Progesys Inc Shutdown Planner in Newfoundland
Progesys is a company recognized for its expertise in managing industrial projects and their optimal transition from construction to operation. The company is based in Laval (Canada) since 2002 and has offices in the United States, the Middle East, Asia and South America.
Progesys is looking for a Shutdown Planner to join its team !
Main Responsibilities:
Prepare schedules for the mechanical maintenance of the fleet of mobile or fixed equipment.
Ensure the optimization of material and human resources.
Maximize equipment performance and minimize operating costs.
Monitor the preventive maintenance program.
Plan the project and prepare execution schedules for maintenance activities.
Collaborate with various departments to establish work procedures.
Work closely with the maintenance department supervision.
Perform any other related tasks that may contribute to the project's success.
Requirements:
University degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent (an asset).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably in the mining sector.
Knowledge of software such as SAP, MS Project, Maximo (an asset).
Flexibility to work on a rotational schedule based on project needs.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strategic thinking with the ability to manage and make decisions.
Ability to develop solutions and assess the impact of decisions.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project team members, clients, and manage deliverables.
