Purpose of Position:
Identify patients and match those patients with test request. Performing sample collection while providing a pleasant patient experience and quality specimens to the laboratory. Accept specimens from other departments and villages, transmit samples and receive results from various reference laboratories.
Uphold the organizations vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organizations policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure absolute patient identification and match with required test, performing specimen collection, ensuring high customer service and paying strict attention to accuracy, integrity, and quality

``` - Receive specimens from other NSHC entities, ensuring quality of specimens

``` - Schedule patients for testing to maximize best use of laboratory resources while making the best possible accommodation for the needs of the patients

``` - Perform drug testing and waived screening

``` - Prepare specimens for shipment to reference laboratories
