Elevance Health Business Change Manager in Norfolk, Virginia
Business Change Manager
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office 1 - 2 days per week). Ideal candidates will live or be willing to relocate to within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Norfolk, VA, Tampa, FL, Grand Prairie TX and Houston, TX.
The Business Change Manager is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.
How you will make an impact:
Serves as an Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) for government business, ensuring programs are implemented effectively and in accordance with established state and federal policies.
Oversees Medicare/Medicaid implementations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.
Leads efforts to identify best practices.
Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
Designs methods for integrating function and process.
Conducts cost/benefit analyses.
Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
Fosters a productive team environment, establishes strong relationships, and resolves issues within a matrix structure.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years process or project related experience, process improvement; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Healthcare (Medicaid/Medicare) background strongly preferred.
Experience managing government business implementations strongly preferred.
Background in claims review and processing strongly preferred.
2 or more years’ experience leading and directing project tasks strongly preferred.
Project management background strongly preferred.
Experience working in a lead role on one or more projects strongly preferred.
Experience with claims operations and benefit configuration, as well as healthcare business operations strongly preferred.
Commercial Business experience preferred.
Agile experience preferred.
Experience supporting medium - large projects lifecycle preferred.
Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
