Description
We are in search of a meticulous Audit Manager to join our client's team in the public accounting industry based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing client projects, ensuring their successful completion, and making significant accounting and auditing decisions. You will also be responsible for developing and managing project time budgets, supervising audit procedures, and fostering a team identity.
Responsibilities:
• Supervising and conducting audit, review, and agreed-upon procedures effectively
• Taking responsibility for tasks and executing them with a proactive and efficient approach
• Making important accounting and auditing decisions and providing timely solutions
• Developing and managing time budgets for projects and guiding team members towards successful completion
• Resolving issues encountered during engagements and providing guidance to team members
• Encouraging cooperation within client service and engagement teams
• Communicating technical issues clearly to clients and team members
• Establishing credibility with clients, prioritizing effectively, and fostering high performance
• Preparing engagement letters and modifications with client approval and coordinating engagements efficiently
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and additional services
• Supervising, developing, and training team members effectively and participating actively in recruitment efforts
• Communicating the firm's offerings effectively and identifying service opportunities with existing clients
• Supporting firm initiatives for economic success and managing engagement timeline pressures
• Reviewing audit procedures promptly and professionally, and utilizing firm resources for exceptional client service
• Demonstrating advanced analytical skills and reasoning, and maintaining client relationships
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• 5+ years of experience in audit and management, CPA license preferred
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Audit Engagements
• Strong auditing skills
• Ability to develop and implement Audit Plans
• Understanding of Budget Processes
