[A Lead Press Brake Operator controls large machines used to bend and shape metal sheets within our fabrication shop. The operator will review blueprints, takes careful measurements, and feed raw material into programmed brake presses to produce custom sheets and metal parts. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}

[Maintain and set up press brake machine. ]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Ensure machine in good working order, including changing the oil, filters, degreasing various parts of press brake.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Inspect sheet metal as being shaped, inspecting pieces of fresh sheet metal for imperfections and quality issues.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Follow safety regulations by wearing proper protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area.]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Use measurement and math skill to ensure quality of precision of projects]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Use forklifts/overhead cranes and other lifting/moving devices to maneuver projects]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
[Communication with Shop Foreman/Engineers and Project Managers]{times="" new="" roman""=""}
