Position Title: IT Help Desk Support
Are you an experienced IT professional ready to jump into an exciting temporary role? We're seeking a proactive and skilled Help Desk Support Specialist to assist with critical IT operations over the next few months. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving to ensure seamless support for faculty & staff
Role & Responsibilities:
IT Ticket Management: Provide timely resolution of 15-20 tickets daily through FreshDesk, addressing technical issues for 120 staff and faculty members.
Troubleshooting & Device Support: Diagnose and resolve issues with Chromebooks, Macs, iPads, printers, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Configuration & Installation: Assist with configuring and maintaining devices, ensuring functionality and availability of applications.
AV Support: Provide hands-on support for Chromecast, audio/visual systems, and others.
General IT Support: Provide assistance with app access issues, device functionality, and other technical needs as they arise.
Requirements
Experience Level: Mid-Senior level expertise in IT support.
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting MacOS, Chromebook, iPad, and AV systems.
Experience with ticketing systems such as FreshDesk is highly valued.
Adept at solving printer connectivity and general Wi-Fi issues.
Ability to identify and resolve application-related issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with faculty and staff.
