Description We are in search of a Development Support Assistant to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Oakland, California. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where the individual will be responsible for managing data, organizing resources, and facilitating effective communication within the team. The Development Support Assistant will play a pivotal role in enhancing our fundraising efforts and streamlining operations.
Responsibilities:
• Administer data entry tasks accurately to aid development operations.
• Ensure efficient organization and management of schedules, resources, and files.
• Assist in data analysis and reporting to guide strategic decision-making.
• Employ various systems effectively to manage and track information.
• Use Microsoft Excel to develop and maintain data spreadsheets proficiently.
• Handle communications, including email correspondence, phone calls, and dissemination of information.
• Provide general office assistance and carry out basic administrative duties.
• Support tasks related to fundraising. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelors / Honours Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a non-profit organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Familiarity with HubSpot for managing donor relations and campaigns
• Prior experience in financial services, demonstrating a strong understanding of budget management and financial reporting
• Knowledge of Computer Science Information System, showcasing a strong technical acumen
• Holder of a University Degree, indicating a well-rounded educational background
• Experience in working with educational institutions, highlighting an understanding of their unique needs and challenges
