What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Trial Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in case preparation and trial success. Your responsibilities will include:
Trial Support: Assisting attorneys during all phases of trial, including managing exhibits, preparing trial materials, and supporting witness preparation.
Case Management: Organizing and maintaining case files, discovery materials, and pleadings.
Legal Research & Writing: Conducting legal research and drafting correspondence, pleadings, and other critical documents.
Discovery: Overseeing the discovery process, including document review and production, summarizing depositions, and preparing discovery responses.
Calendaring: Managing key deadlines, hearings, and trial schedules to ensure efficient case progression.
Requirements
What the Firm is Looking For:
Experience: A minimum of 2+ years as a trial paralegal, with extensive trial preparation and courtroom experience.
Education: Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to adapt under pressure.
Expertise: Familiarity with business and/or employment law is a plus, but not required. Litigation knowledge in any area required.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with legal software, e-discovery tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
