Summary Determine and prioritize which jobs will be kitted or filled internally or externally. Has direct interaction with engineering, construction, and suppliers to determine needs. Maintains appropriate inventory levels. Determine what work will be performed by contractors. Ensures areas are environmentally compliant. Ensures environmental and governmental records are completed timely and filed according to regulations. Key Roles & Responsibilities
Kits material for projects and inventory replenishment for Transmission & Distribution (T&D)
Assists with the creation and/or approval of purchase request for Inventory and Storeroom teams
Checks the accuracy and application appropriateness of requested material
Resolves and assist material issues with external and internal stakeholders
Supports daily replenishments by creating PRs and tracking POs
Supports DA program and other special construction projects
Handles email box and incoming calls and material requests for Distribution Materials Center
Responds to call-out schedule to support emergency and storms for Transmission & Distribution
Docks material and resolve inventory issues
Participates in annual inventory count
Supports Transmission & Distribution system warehousing technical applications, Maximo and Velocity
Monitors system Transmission & Distribution inventory levels and make adjustments as required to meet inventory value objectives
Maintains knowledge of various materials, manufacturers, product description and application
Maintains professional and effective relationship with external and internal stakeholders
Provides subject matter expertise, recommendations, and field support for Oncor construction and maintenance activities
Ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment to Supply Chain management’s performance expectations
Accurately complete, file, and maintain required governmental, SOX, and environmental data
Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, & Skills
Education:
High School Diploma
AA, AS, BA/BS in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred
Experience:
2+ years of Supply Chain related experience
Experience and Understanding of Maximo and Velocity
Skills:
Strong customer service and project management skill
Strong written and oral communication
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment
Knowledge of Utility (Transmission and/or Distribution) construction sequence
Capability of Microsoft Office suite
