Centene Corporation Accessibility Operations Manager in Olympia, Washington

Position Purpose:
Accessibility Operations works collaboratively with Agile teams and managers to monitor, coordinate, and track tasks, compliance, and delivery.
Monitors the backlogs of multiple agile teams to understand the accessibility consulting and testing needs
Tracks the remediation of accessibility defects found during development
Measures adoption of accessibility standards, tools, and practices and reporting on the compliance levels of teams
Coordinates work with vendors and organizations such as compliance and legal to respond to requests for VPAT or other reporting
Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, design, and legal departments, to integrate accessibility into all aspects of operations.
Manage accessibility audits and assessments to identify and address potential barriers and ensure timely delivery of VPATs
Incorporate user feedback into design and operational processes to improve accessibility.
Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of WCAG standards across versions and compliance levels, including web and native mobile app required.
Experience working with large teams, multiple programs and projects, matrixed organizations, and with complicated enterprise systems required.
Experience working with different disciplines including design, product, engineering, architecture, program management, marketing, legal, and lines required.
One or more of the following skills are desired.
Experience with project management and program management.
Experience with vendor management and working with consultants outside the organization.
Experience creating and delivering on team metrics.
Experience with agile frameworks such as SAFe and working with multiple agile teams in an enterprise context.
Experience with delivery and development platforms including backlog management, project management, defect management, time tracking, and related tool.
Pay Range: $72,400.00 - $130,100.00 per year
