Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineering Manager to join the Licensing Compliance team in the US. This Engineering Manager will be managing high-performing engineering scrum teams that builds and supports Compliance platform services and components that powers non-compliance detection and identification for Desktop and cloud Autodesk products. The platforms has a direct impact to top-line revenue of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Attract, hire, manage, motivate and career development of talented, highly productive engineering teams

  • Own your team’s technical strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with product managers and business stakeholders

  • Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture and help drive decisions

  • Build and foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the tools and motivation to make things happen

  • Relentlessly push for good Engineering Practices and innovation

  • Closely collaborate with other teams, architects and product owners to accomplish cross-organizational project goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience and interest in managing highly performing and talented team of engineers

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field

  • Strong experience building and managing Cloud platforms, preferably AWS

  • Strong experience with client-server technologies and stacks such as Java, Python, C++, Jenkins, GitHub

  • Proven experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies

  • Strong experience working with remote teams on collaborating towards a common goal

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $145,800 and $235,950. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
