Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
Responsible for traveling to customer sites to perform a variety of services including inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
Conduct on-site equipment inspections and maintenance at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues in the field and perform necessary repairs.
Collaborate with Service Manager to schedule and prioritize field service calls.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
Build knowledge of dealer-supported product lines, service standards, and procedures, keeping abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributor.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment while working in the field.
Maintain remote parts inventory.
Willingness for overnight travel, including some multi-day events.
Actively seek new business opportunities in the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Act as an ambassador of the company with customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years working in a full-time technician/mechanic role on heavy-duty chassis.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical experience.
Welding/cutting torch experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will require a pre-employment drug test.
Direct industry experience (desirable).
Class B CDL (desirable).

Work Environment
Will work in the field as long as there are calls. If no calls, will be working in the shop.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
