Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to work on a mass excavation project at a water park in Bellevue, NE. The primary responsibility involves operating a bulldozer to push and grade land, ensuring the ground is smooth for building development. The role is highly repetitive, requiring the operator to fill up the bucket, transfer loads to trucks, and continue this process efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment to push and grade land.
Ensure the ground is smooth and ready for building development.
Fill up the bucket and transfer loads to trucks.
Move soil back and forth until it lays flat.
Adhere to project deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Essential Skills :
2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, tractors, and excavators.
Proficiency in operating bulldozers, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
Ability to meet project deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with grading, earthworks, and loading.
Ability to operate various equipment including front-end loaders, track hoes, and skid steers.
Pay: 25-30 ( Depending on Experience)

Work Environment:You will work independently in an excavator on a water park jobsite in Bellevue, NE. The hours are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and 7 AM to 3:30 PM on Saturdays. The dress code includes jeans, a work shirt, and boots. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
