NBC Universal Cabana Concierge Attendant (Volcano Bay) in Orlando, Florida
JOB SUMMARY:
A Cabana Concierge Attendant is responsible for helping Guests enjoy their stay at Universal Volcano Bay through setting expectations, troubleshooting, and resolving Guest situations, and providing exemplary information and guidance on how to enhance and enjoy their day. Responsible for escorting Guests to their assigned cabana, providing attraction recommendations, explaining cabana amenities, and providing personalized service throughout the Guest's visit. Ensure cabanas remain show ready for Guests at all times throughout their visit. Provides service and support to both Guests and internal partners.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resolves sensitive guest situations on individual basis through personal interaction. Asks exploratory questions to identify and resolve concerns while helping Guests plan their day at Universal's Volcano Bay, and more. Documents concerns appropriately and completely. Communicates to Guests how best to experience Universal Volcano Bay, including: utilizing the Virtual Line system, creating an account through the UO App, linking entitlements to Guest accounts, setting up “TapTu Pay” mobile purchasing. Provides information regarding height requirements, rider restrictions, etc. Communicates the appropriate accommodations for Guests with disabilities, in accordance with ADA guidelines. Provides additional service to Cabana Guests, such as making dining recommendations/reservations, or running miscellaneous errands.
Responsible for escorting guests to their Cabanas and/or Premium Seating and acts as a liaison between guests and food servers. Confirms potential allergen concerns and communicates to food server. Delivers cabana welcome baskets.
Responsible for ensuring that Cabanas remain fully stocked with various products (bottled water, towels, cold towels, etc.) through the Guest's visit.
Maintains show quality Cabanas and Premium Seating equipment, rental products, and towels before, during, and after the Guest's visit. Identifies and reports and maintenance or pest-related issues to appropriate teams and Team Captains for follow up.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:

EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
2 - 3 years previous Guest Service experience in the Hospitality Industry preferred;
Must have strong interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast pace environment;
Six months - one year providing direction preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
