As a Facility Maintenance Technician based in Orlando, FL you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a variety of tasks in the preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities and equipment. You’ll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to challenges that may arise at the facilities. You’ll perform wall and drywall installation and demo, carpet replacement, CT replacement, acoustical ceiling installation/demo and reconfiguration, painting, and woodworking. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of interior spaces.; and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of you and your team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience in drywall, wall installation, carpet replacement, acoustical ceiling installation, painting, and woodworking

  • Proficiency with construction tools, equipment, and materials

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and finishing work.

Ideally, here’s what you will also have:

  • Certifications in specific trades (e.g., drywall installation, painting, or flooring)

  • Vocational training or apprenticeship in construction or a related field.  

  • Experience working on commercial, residential, or industrial projects.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to different project requirements

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
