Key Responsibilities
Join our award-winning Housekeeping department, where excellence in guest service and room quality is our top priority. We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to support our Housekeeping Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations throughout the weekend, ensuring our guests enjoy an immaculate and welcoming stay. This role involves both leadership and hands-on responsibilities, and is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality. Key duties include:
Lead, coach, and inspire our team of room attendants, housepersons, and laundry attendants by setting a positive example.
Oversee and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Address guest requests, concerns, and issues promptly to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
Assist in administrative functions, including scheduling, payroll, and departmental training to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping or front office in a hotel setting.
Schedule flexibility AM, PM, Weekends and Holidays is essential.
A degree in Hotel Management and experience with Opera software are assets.
Physical ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs, and to bend, stoop, and reach as needed to assist team members.
Proficiency in English; French language skills are preferred.
A self-motivated personality with a calm and professional demeanor.
Consistently professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Team-oriented, willing to assist colleagues, and committed to providing outstanding service to guests.
