Job Title: Forklift Driver
Job Description
Responsible for the transport of pallets within cold-storage facility, preparing orders for shipment, and other duties as assigned. Operate stand-up forklifts, loading and unloading, using RF scanners, and driving other industrial vehicles such as a rider pallet jack. Perform daily forklift inspections, stage fruit bins/pallets for inspections, shipments, and inbound deliveries, and accurately label pallets. Follow daily maintenance programs for forklifts and scanner equipment, ensure safe and efficient movement of goods, adhere to safety regulations and company guidelines, report facility and pallet damages, and ensure loads are properly secured and stabilized for transport. Accurately follow scanning procedures for inventory accuracy and pallet tracking, perform down stacking and restacking of pallets, and other warehouse operations duties as needed. Additionally, perform weekly and monthly inventory counts with accuracy.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
2 years of forklift experience
Knowledge of AS400/inventory systems
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
Ability to work in a cold environment
Strong communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Spanish language skills are a plus
Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled environment ranging from 34F-42F, near moving mechanical parts and equipment. The environment is fast-paced with a start time of 6 AM - 2:30 PM, and two positions will transition to a second shift with a start time of 2 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.65/hr.
