Then Payette Assessment and Care Center (PACC) inPayettehas a position as a temporary Human Services Supervisoravailable for you! PACC is a 16-bed foster care facility that provides, structure, safety, and a supportive environment for children in foster care. You will enjoy working with our friendly, dedicated and professional team that provides a safe haven for healing and growth.

Additionally, this position has the work-life balance you have been looking for. This is a part-time, temp position with benefits with work hours of Monday-Friday, 10AM-3PM.

This position is not eligible for telework.

The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace.     EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

  • Develops and implements unit work plans.

  • Provides input into program policies, goals, and procedures.

  • Ensures quality of service delivery activities.

  • Determines case priorities, recommends training needs, and evaluates staff performance.

  • Provides and coordinates emergency crisis responses, de-escalation interventions, and therapeutic responses including potentially after hours on-call services.

  • Manages employee schedules, coordinates department coverage.

  • Ensures quality of documentation.

  • May assist in root cause analysis and identifying practice improvements based on findings.

  • Provides patient-centered approach to service delivery.

  • May provide direct services.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position.   • Some knowledge of supervisory practices: Typically gained through completion of a class or seminar (more than one day) specifically covering supervisory practices; or lead work experience that required work direction, monitoring work, and making work assignments (such experience on a fill-in basis if non-qualifying unless for a period of approximately three months or more); or completion of a college-level personnel course.

  • Some knowledge of community organization/development principles and processes: Typically gained by completion of community organization/development course or workshops equivalent to three semester hours of college credit or 40 classroom hours of specific training OR has served in a direct services role for at least one year in case management or psychosocial or rehabilitation therapy or counseling and applying these principles in a community development role.

  • Experience demonstrating good knowledge of human services principles and practices to include social and family systems, human growth and development, and case management methods: Typically gained by a Bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science curriculum such as social work, psychology, marriage and family counseling, psychosocial rehabilitation, education, nursing, sociology, or closely related field of study that included family systems; AND at least one year of experience in social service delivery or case management OR one year of experience as a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC).
