Summary You will serve as a LEAD GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the Material Sourcing & Execution Division, Supply Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will serve as a lead responsible for the Supply Department. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, reviewing, and expediting material sourcing functions. You will ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, and vision are communicated to the team and integrated into the goals, objectives, work products and services. You will distribute and balance workload among employees in accordance with established work flow and skill level, establishes priorities of assigned tasks, and ensuring employees have an integral role in developing final team product. You will be the senior primary liaison for PHNSY IMF with the supply chain and ensure all material required for repair and alteration of ships during availabilities is ordered and sourced correctly to support production schedules. You will participate in forums designed for communication of ideas and feedback in the business environment and represent PHNSY IMF in supply meetings. You will ensure PHNSY IMF achieve the minimal amount of work stoppages and that material is maintained at an acceptable range and depth so that the projects can be executed as scheduled. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and implementing a material management program (e.g., ordering, expediting, receiving, inspecting, cost control) and recommending solutions to optimize production supply operations.
