Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM SPECIALIST (QUALITY) in the Calibration Branch (Code 952), Electrical Division (Code 950), Production Resources Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will conduct a variety of studies related to the substantive programs, process and functions of the Calibration Laboratory within the Electrical Division. You will review and analyze policies, procedures, production training and other aspects for assigned program. You will identify, evaluate, and provide recommendations on areas of weakness to ensure appropriate corrective measures are taken to improve production output and support. You will support the Quality Assurance Program in assigned assessments and internal quality audits, surveillances, briefings, presentations, and studies to improve work processes. You will provide support of the development of training plans and presentations and assists with establishing required qualifications for personnel to perform specific functions within the calibration shop. You will maintain work schedules, work statuses, and follow up on program requirements to ensure timelines are met and report to senior specialist or supervisor on possible delays. You will perform precise analysis of collected data, recognize weaknesses in work/shop processes, formulate and recommend meaningful solutions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing data to identify issues or deficiencies; generating report of findings (e.g., reports, charts, graphs, spreadsheets); and proposing solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a program (Calibration, Quality Assurance, or Self-Assessment).
