U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief QUALITY PROGRAM SPECIALIST in Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Hawaii
Summary You will serve as a QUALITY PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the Quality Assurance Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will assist with managing, executing, and evaluating quality systems related to contract administration. You will perform strategic inspection of work in-process via physical examination, verification, testing, concurrent witnessing, monitoring of critical aspects, or similar of processes, repairs, overhauls, etc. You will apply a variety of quality assurance techniques and procedures or work directions to the planning and completion of assignments You will ensure acceptability of products, or acceptable levels of quality in the operations involved. You will plan, develop, organize, administer, evaluate, and manage a quality system for determining contractor and government conformance with requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, planning, and implementing a contractor operations and processes related to ship repair or modernization to ensure compliance with contract quality assurance requirements that includes product inspection and the investigation of reports of product deficiencies to recommend corrective action. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
