The Position
Support Project Management Office (PMO) in driving investment projects and key priorities covering cost initiatives across the project organization, including supporting the Project Management (PM) Team on execution as well as initiating & maturing initiatives. Drive robust cost plans & tracking systems. Complete assigned projects & project tasks within given parameters. Act as lead for responsibilities in the PMO group including building project portfolio cashflow, projections, linking project costs, & financial reports.
Additional responisibiliies relating to the project: Additionally, you will join a team of investments project managers. In this role, the Sr. Project Manager will collaborate closely with team members to ensure high-quality project controlling, management reporting and financial compliance. Provide oversight of investment and project capacity cost. Serve Entry point for investment projects regarding financial compliance; provides financial guidance to ensure correct accounting treatment throughout project lifecycle. Help drives investment budget process in collaboration with Site Project Office. Ensures that portfolio financial forecast insights are provided including risk reporting. Performs month end closing activities and reporting of investment financial performance. As part of portfolio overview, performs yearly asset review and depreciation outlook. This role will reside onsite with the team. Site schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10hr dayshift schedule.

Essential Functions
Work under the direction of the Senior Project Manager or Manager, Project Management to support the planning, coordination, & evaluation of project financial reporting
Works with subject matter experts to identify opportunities that focus on key procurement metrics, cost reductions, risk mitigation, & industry supply trends
Maintain financial reports for individual project subtasks & provide roll-up reports that summarize the subtasks
Assists with reviewing funding availability & procurement documentation to ensure conformance to approved project budgets
Assist with facilitating change management processes to ensure changes are processed in an accurate & timely manner
Participate in development of project estimates, budgets, forecasts, estimates to complete, & cost trends
Maintain weekly cost reports; evaluating actual & forecasted costs against budgets & detailed analysis
Assist with performing earned value analysis, align changes in schedule milestone delivery with cost impacts
Participate in continuous process improvement via cLEAN®
Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or relevant field of study from an accredited university required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project management with knowledge in cost control/cost management methods, earned value analysis & cost forecasting required, preferably in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Novo Nordisk governance & good Novo Nordisk network preferred
Knowledge of large Capital Expenditures (CapEx) projects with focus on PMO roles preferred
