Bihler of America Tool & Die Maker's Apprentice in Phillipsburg, New Jersey
This employer will be on-site conducting interviews at our Multi-Industry Career/Job Fair which will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at The Upper Bucks County Technical School, 3115 Ridge Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944. Bihler is seeking a vocational graduate (preferred) for the role of Tool & Die Maker's Apprentive. The ideal candidate will have basic Tool & Die Maker skills including Math, Print Reading, Precision Measuring and Machine Tool Operations. Shop Safety Awareness is preferred. NIMS Credentials preferred, SkillsUSA participation encouraged.
Responsibitities:
- Manufacture parts to blueprint specifications.
- Milling.
- Surface Grinding.
- Turning.
- Drill Press.
- Bench Work.
- QC and Inspection.
Launched in 2013, the Bihler of America Apprenticeship Program is one of only two accredited programs in New Jersey, attracting some of the brightest and most capable young minds. This program provides participants with the skills and experience needed to launch rewarding, long-term careers in precision manufacturing.
We actively partner with local high schools and vocational programs, carefully reviewing resumes from talented students within driving distance of our facility. Promising candidates begin with an internship during the fall and spring of their senior year, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Those who meet our high standards for skill, dedication, and work ethic are invited to join the full apprenticeship program, where they hone their craft and build a strong foundation for a successful future.

Program Structure:
- As an accredited New Jersey Department of Labor program, Bihler provides four years or 8000 hours of training including 576 hours of related theoretical instruction via enrollment at a local community college. Topics and experiences include all facets of Bihler manufacturing operations, including milling, grinding, turning, stamping, etc. The students are presented with the program syllabus and instructed by the apprenticeship manager and other seasoned employees within the company.
