Town of Pine Hill Police Officer in Pine Hill, Alabama

Job Description:

  • Alabama Post Certified Police Officers; Must be current with APOSTC.
  • Must have valid Alabama Drivers License and a good driving record.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with good computer, reading, writing, math and communication skills. Must have experience in report writing. (Pre-Screening will be conducted)
  • Pre-Employment Drug Testing and Doctors Physical/Eye Examinations will be performed.
  • There will be a Pre-Employment Physical Agility Test.
  • Pre-Employment Written Police Skills Test in addition to other testing will also be conducted.
  • Must pass Pre-Employment Firearms Qualifications.
  • No criminal record: a background check will be required.
  • Must have good morals, character and references.
  • Must be able to handle environmental conditions/factors and rotating shifts are required.
  • Must have good people skills.
  • Must be able to take and carry out commands from Superiors.
  • Must understand the Chain of Command in Law Enforcement.
  • Salary negotiable, based on training and experience.
