CPFR eComm Associate Manager

The CPFR Associate Manager PurePlay eCommerce resource is a collaborative role, which drives eCommerce business execution of supply chain strategies while partnering with eCommerce Sales Team, Supply Chain teams and eCommerce retailers to achieve mutually agreed upon Operational Efficiency strategies, product availability, inventory productivity, and cost efficiency objectives.

This key player will provide leadership in building strong relationships with eCommerce Retailers and our Customer Development Team in order to develop insights on demand plans. They are responsible for building a collaborative demand plan (baseline, promotion, new items) by driving the collaboration process with the multi-functional team which includes Customer Development local organization, Marketing, eCommerce/Insights/Digital, and Supply Chain.. They will also facilitate the consensus between the multi- functional team to align to one demand plan. This position also works closely with eCommerce In-stock and Vendor Managers as well as apply digital tools and assets to manage and create eCommerce Demand Forecast baseline and make adjustments for potential influences.

This resource will actively engage customer partnerships on all levels and manage the commercial monthly discipline. The individual will handle service levels are in line with Colgate and Customer objectives and facilitate identification of supply efficiencies. This person will need to collaborate and analyze inventory, demand plan, and in stock levels with customer and proactive in communicating to the customer variations to plan.

The ideal candidate must have strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills as well as be proficient in all aspects of the collaborative demand planning process to include SAP functional knowledge, BW, Inventory Replenishment and Forecasting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead eCommerce projects that match the strategy to the eCommerce environment and adapt the organization to develop analytical capabilities and a culture of experimentation.

  • Proactively anticipate key partner’s needs and perform ad hoc analysis on forecasting inputs (e.g., business trends, seasonality, consumption patterns)

  • Monitor assigned eTailer plans in Atlas, ensuring accuracy of the activity mechanics, investment and volume estimate, including new products. Proactively monitor and manage subscribed in stock through a standard cadence

  • Proactively collaborate on e-shopper engagement strategies across PurePlay and Brick n Mortar eCommerce Retailers following eCommerce product availability speed process for new item launches

  • Recommend opportunities to build sustainable eCommerce organization capabilities. Explore the utilization of technology (CP and the customer) and the process to create a management by exception environment in demand planning to support the stat modeling process and future enhancements of the process.

  • Actively engage Supply Chain partners to ensure service levels. Facilitate supply efficiencies by providing leadership and expertise on eCommerce SC strategies and Cost to Serve analysis.

  • Collaborate broadly across the Etailer and internal organization to find opportunities to increase etailer sales, drive volume and improve and sustain service levels.

  • Build eCommerce collaboration, planning, forecasting and replenishment North America competencies. Coordinate daily demand planning while looking for opportunities to lead change by identifying/ developing new processes/ procedures to drive efficiency within the supply chain. Document key processes and tools. Liaison with Colgate Palmolive-NA eCommerce to share learning and leverage standard processes.

  • Lead and / or participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance organization’s etailer capabilities and knowledge. This includes Customer Supply Chain meetings, Scorecard continuous improvement reviews, global standard methodology sharings and eCommerce Team Meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Business/ Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field

  • Customer Service/ Logistics/ Supply Chain experience with a strong understanding of operations

  • Functional/ Technical knowledge of CP- US Supply Chain is critical

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer Relationship experience

  • SAP experience

  • Microsoft Office or Google Suites

  • CPFR experience

  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, DOMO, etc.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $102,400.00 - $128,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
