Description
We are in the process of recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to join our client's team in the Plainfield, New Jersey area. This role will involve playing a vital part in the planning, implementation, and delivery of various construction projects. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with other project managers and team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Actively support the project management team in the planning and execution of construction projects.
• Maintain strong communication with team members to ensure project objectives are met.
• Utilize project management principles to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications, within budget, and on schedule.
• Play a crucial role in maintaining project timelines and budgets.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure effective project delivery.
• Handle and resolve any project-related inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager, ideally in construction.
Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, or related field.
PMP or CAPM certification a plus.
Strong understanding of construction projects.
Proficient in project management software.
Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
