Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Production Database Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Production Database Operations Specialist, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Plano, TX / Jersey City, NJ / Chandler, AZ (Hybrid)
What's the Job?
Provide end-to-end support of production applications, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
Conduct in-depth problem analysis of applications, troubleshoot system errors, and performance issues.
Collaborate with Engineering, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams to implement fixes and enhancements.
Lead chronic issue investigations to minimize business impact and maintain system health.
Execute disaster recovery procedures and strategies to ensure business continuity.
What's Needed?
7+ years of experience in production database operations, preferably in a 24x7 environment.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including HA clustered environments and replication features.
Experience with database backup and recovery, including disaster recovery standards.
Proficient in handling Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters for PostgreSQL.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective work across cross-functional teams.
