FirstService Residential Region, Trainer - South in Plantation, Florida

Job Overview:

Supporting the South Region, the Trainer is responsible for the delivery and facilitation of training programs in support of our Property Management and support teams. This role involves utilizing various methods, including instructor-led training, webinars, and virtual classroom platforms, to ensure our teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles. Areas of training will include, but are not limited to, technical, leadership, and safety.

The Trainer , South Florida position is a Hybrid position. The office is in Plantation, Florida,

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive training addressing the needs of leaders.

  • Facilitate training sessions using multiple methods , including instructor-led, webinars, and virtual classroom platforms.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary.

  • Provide ongoing training-related support to regional corporate functions and Property Management teams to reinforce learning.

  • Maintain training records and track progress of participants.

  • Manage the Safety page on the Region’s website

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in property management, corporate training, and safety protocols .

    Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field preferred.

  • 2+ years experience as a Trainer, preferably in the property management industry or related industry.

  • Experience with LMS platforms and virtual learning tools.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in training methodologies, adult learning principles, and safety standards.

  • Proficiency in using virtual classroom platforms and webinar tools.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    Travel:

    Limited within the South Region that could include overnight.
