Location ​

This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas. ​

​

Department ​

Working within our friendly and professional Housekeeping Department, this position reports to the Executive Housekeeper.​

​

Responsibilities include and are not limited to ​

• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms​

• Make beds, remove dirty linens and room service items ​

• Dust and polish walls and furnishings​

• Vacuum carpets and floor care duties​

• Ensure the guest's privacy is maintained at all times​

• Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends​

• Providing all guests at the resort with a superior, personalised and memorable experience by greeting and assisting guests with any query / requirements in a professional and timely manner​

Preferred applicants will have valid working rights to work in Australia. Sponsorship will not be available for this position. ​

The successful applicant will have ​

• A warm, people orientated demeanour​

• Attention to detail ​

• Experience in similar role within an International standard 4 or 5 star Hotel (desirable)​
