TriMas Corporation Supply Chain Specialist in Povolaro (VI), Italy
Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Specialist ensures the lean and efficient management of the supply chain area, specifically the correct procurement of materials and stock management, the production planning e the shipment of finished products, collaborating with the sales office and customer care.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Actively participating to morning production meetings; tasks and priorities management
Production planning, according to planned and non-planned maintenance and quality non-conformities (ERP Approach).
Raw materials supply management according to production planning and development of medium/long-term supplying plans. (MRP)
Monthly reporting, monitoring and updating Supply chain KPIs ( i.e. OTIF metric)
Actively collaborating with Trimas central ssupply chain roles on the regard of transport offers (BID).
Being front-end with suppliers when there are quality issues / claims or delay in the delivering of the raw materials.
Collaborate with Customer Care to improve the delivery to Customers (customer delivery excellence)
Updating of the MES calendar.
Back-up for logistic admin.
monitoring by quarter of the stockpiles of raw materials, WIP and finished product, according to Working capital KPI.
evaluation of the supplier based on internal certification policies (As: Standard BRC) and EHS legislation.
