The Role

The Network Expense Resolution Analyst is responsible for engaging with our carrier access vendors to report, substantiate and resolve billing disputes that achieve expense savings to the company. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong data analysis, written/oral communications, and problem-solving skillsets along with expertise in carrier access billings and services. Implements aspects of the Access Cost Management (ACM) process, including timely invoice processing, reconciling accounts, and resolving any aging discrepancies with the vendors. Performs a wide spectrum of moderately difficult assignments requiring alternative analysis, innovation and judgment.

The working hours are 1pm - 9pm CET with some flexibility.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Engage with vendors to facilitate effective and timely resolution of open dispute balances; clearly communicate audit methods, analysis/reporting and conclusions to negotiate favorable returns on resolved and settled disputes.

  • Leverage vendor invoice data, utilizing Business Objects, OB-IEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Editions), PowerBI, and Razorflow ENX systems to facilitate invoice dispute resolution processes with our vendors.

  • Review billing adjustments, and processes resolution credits and paybacks in a timely manner.

  • Work effectively on a team as well as being a self-driven contributor in maintaining positive relationships with our vendors.

  • Develop new insights that will drive operational efficiencies, automation, and savings for the organization.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 4+ Years of Professional Work experience, preferably within Network Expense, Billing, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Vendor Relations in the Telecommunications Industry.

  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to professionally collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve results while maintaining positive relationships.

  • Strong verbal, written and oral communication skills to articulate findings and influence desired results with stakeholders.

  • Problem solving versatility: making the best decisions possible given the data quality and time available.

  • Expertise and Working Knowledge with the ordering, planning, pricing, accounting, or billings of off net/access network services

  • Proficient with ENX (Razorflow Cost Management Platform) or other comparable telecom Expense Management/AP software application.

  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other tools for creating, managing, and analyzing large complex datasets.

  • Experience using Business Objects, OB-IEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition), or Data Visualization (i.e. PowerBI) Software.

  • Bachelors or Equivalent in Business or Other Technology
