Job Description:
We’re looking for a Community Investment Manager to join our Business Management, Colleague Communications, Events and Community Investment team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to develop, implement, and manage the MBPS Community Investment programs and initiatives aligned to the Manulife’s Impact Agenda pillars.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage the MBPS community investment program that provide volunteering opportunities for our colleagues. These should align with the Manulife Impact Agenda and community needs, ensuring their effectiveness through data-driven evaluation and efficient budget management for sustainability and scalability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Global and Regional community investment team in Manulife, community organizations, non-profits, to identify collaboration opportunities, and enhance program reach
Conduct ongoing assessments and research to understand community needs and priorities, using feedback from community members and stakeholders to refine and adapt community investment strategies.
Create clear communication materials and prepare reports and presentations to share the impact and outcomes of community investment initiatives with internal and external audiences, including senior management and stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of the community investment strategy, aligning it with corporate social responsibility goals, and provide expert advice to leadership on emerging community issues and trends.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, public administration, social sciences, nonprofit management, or a related discipline. A master's degree can be an advantage.
5-7 years of experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility, nonprofit management, or a related area.
Proven track record of managing community programs and initiatives. Program Development experience, can be an advantage
Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
Skills and Competencies:
Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate programs effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical skills to assess community needs and measure program impact.
Budget management skills to efficiently allocate resources.
