Treasury Operations is responsible for safeguarding the cash assets of the Company through a robust control environment and excellence in operational execution on a global basis.

North America (NA) Treasury Operations is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to support the execution of NA Treasury Operations initiatives that will help drive NA Treasury Operations’ transformation. Under the guidance of the Director, Treasury Operations, this role will lead business analysis activities involving system implementation and process re-engineering. The incumbent will write requirements and specifications, define test plans and test scenarios, execute system testing to support system implementation and enhancements, bank integration and process re-engineering initiatives. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills, communication skills, global mindset, strategic thinking, in-depth Treasury Operations and Banking knowledge.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Analyze systems and business processes and document data and process flows

  • Deliver training to guide users on new / modified system features and processes

  • Support change management and provide post-implementation warranty support and troubleshooting

  • Produce quality documents including business processes and controls, feasibility and impact analysis, requirements, user guides, and training materials

  • Proactively interact and communicate with internal and external stakeholders (Operations, IT, Business units, Banks, Third Party Vendors) and build productive working relationships with key business partners

  • Lead effective meetings to understand business drives, rationalize existing processes, present findings and facilitate decision making

  • Manager users’ expectations and stakeholder partnership

  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts, effectively communicate information gathered/complex ideas to stakeholders

  • Define and analyze operational problems, identify risks and recommend options based on data-driven assessments

  • Assess impacts of system/process changes to upstream and downstream processes

  • Build and deliver concise and effective presentations to communicate complex ideas in easy-to-understand way to different audiences

  • Support business stakeholders and peers in project delivery to achieve strategic and benefit goals

  • Support ad-hoc analysis to identify root cause of issues and resolve issues in a timely manner

Qualifications/Competencies

Minimum requirements:

  • 2 years of operations / back-office experience in Cash Management / Payments

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, business system analysis, system testing

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills

  • Able to independently trace data / processes from upstream to downstream to investigate issues, come up with options and manage the resolution

  • Able to quickly learn complex concepts, processes, systems and technologies via self-directed investigation

Experience:

  • Experience in complex business process mapping

  • Experience in data mapping – write specifications and execute testing

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

  • Experience in working with ERP vendor systems

Desired skills and experience:

  • Strong business acumen with good understanding of the business environment to support meaningful analysis

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage internal relationships through collaboration within the department and across business units

  • Proficiency in data analytics utilizing advanced Excel features. Programming/coding skills (e.g., SQL, SAS) are definite assets

  • Willingness to explore areas for improvement with the ability to take on new projects/tasks while managing expectations in a dynamic, fast paced and demanding environment

  • Experience with using MS Excel Macros and Power Query

  • Experience with payment file formats including XML and SWIFT ISO20022 file formats

  • Experience delivering complex projects involving system implementation and business process re-engineering / automation

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand end-to-end processes

  • Able to effectively articulate complex problems and concepts in an easy-to-understand way

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision making

  • Professional designation / certification in Treasury, Accounting, Project Management, Business Analyst, Process Improvement

  • Experience with Power BI, and other data analytics software

  • Experience with test automation tools

  • Capacity for constant learning, remaining open to change and continuous improvement

  • Able and willing to step into tasks outside of his/her role if and when needed

  • Good business judgment with the ability to juggle changing priorities to meet obligations

  • Comfortable with ambiguity; able to establish course of action in environment of conflicting priorities

  • Project a positive high-energy attitude and establish harmonious working relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders

  • Flexibility to accommodate global schedules working with people in multiple locations and time-zones
