Job Description

This Operational Analyst will be responsible for processing the Asset Return Program (ARP), other hardware incoming and outgoing requests, returns, etc.

Shift Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:59 PM PDT, onsite at Redwood City, CA location

Important: These hours are subject to change at any time, and analysts may be moved to the day shift schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PDT) based on business requirements, project availability, and management decisions.

Department: Oracle Manufacturing and Distribution (M&D) is responsible for the distribution of hardware, software, and marketing material to Oracle’s internal and external customers worldwide. M&D's mission is to continually deliver high-quality products, services, and interactions, on time, to our customers.

Responsibilities

The Operational Analyst will be responsible for processing the Asset Return Program (ARP), other hardware incoming and outgoing requests, returns, etc.

  • Responsible for planning and processing of orders, packaging, and shipping.

  • Process received Asset Reclaim Program (ARP) orders to ship out, preparation of packaging materials, and in building the ARP kits.

  • Perform quality control checks on all orders to ensure it passes the set of quality control requirements.

  • Monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle to ensure availability for customer orders.

  • Responsible for daily monitoring of order transactions, creates daily/weekly status reports and monthly KPI reports for management review.

  • Verifies assembled products conform to defined specifications.

  • Creates purchase orders and resolves invoice issues.

  • Meets with suppliers to ensure highest quality product deliveries within established lead times.

  • Continuous assessment of manufacturing processes to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Perform laptop imaging and hardware configurations, testing, refurbishing, cleaning, and distribution.

  • Receiving, inspecting incoming and outgoing materials, and shipping/distribution of parts.

  • Ensuring accurate, timely processing of receiving, return materials and hardware, print and kitting jobs.

  • Processing orders according to priorities set by the manager to meet customer requirements and target dates.

  • Coordinating with operations team to ensure all scheduled orders are picked and processed in a timely manner.

  • Replenishing stock, maintaining inventory, and moving items to increase picking efficiency.

  • Performing cycle count and resolving inventory discrepancies.

  • Work with Operations team and Oracle Enterprise Engineers to troubleshoot daily laptop imaging issues to meet deadlines for laptop delivery.

  • Create and update processes and instructions, to ensure efficiency and business requirements are met.

  • Follow all safety guidelines by maintaining a clean safe work environment. Keep labs, warehouses, work areas clean, safe.

  • Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principles of safety for self and others into daily activities.

  • Performing data entry and system transactions using Oracle applications.

  • Ensuring highest quality product deliveries within established lead times.

  • Identifying areas for process improvements, cost savings, and process efficiencies.

  • Operating warehouse equipment: hand truck, pallet jack, and pushcart.

  • Assist team with various projects as needed.

Job Qualifications (skills/education):

  • 1-3 years of experience. BA/BS degree is a plus.

  • Knowledge of PC and desktop hardware.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.

  • Exhibits strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through and with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals. Ability to lift, drive M&D vehicles, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components.

  • The Operational Analyst Role is an essential role and will report to the Oracle M&D office in Redwood City, CA, daily. This position does not offer teleworker or remote/working from home options.

  • Work involves problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from $19.62 to $38.32 per hour; from: $40,800 to $79,700 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
