ASRC Federal is seeking an Associate Payroll Tax Specialist.
Essential job functions and responsibilities:
Receives and processes all payroll tax notifications for federal, state and local jurisdictions.
Compiles outstanding payroll tax liabilities and assigns to processors.
Provides and reconciles unemployment rate notices with third-party payroll provider.
Reconciles payroll registers to monthly and quarterly tax filings
Reviews employee tax set up to ensure compliance with reciprocity and non-residency regulations
Complete 941 Reconciliations for each quarter and year-end for all payroll general ledger accounts
Ensure correct employee tax documents on file
W2 review and reconciliation
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree and 0-2 years of experience or equivalent.
Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, Dayforce and ADP experience preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong customer service skills.
Must be detail oriented and be able to work on routine tasks with little to no supervision.
Ability to react quickly to emergency situations and creativity in dealing with difficult/challenging situation.
Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
Must have computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
