Sevita Direct Support Professional in Rhode Island
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Part-time weekend overnight shift for Direct Support Professional / Caregiver
Our Caregivers have fun on the job! Some examples: beach visits, drive-in movies, lobster boat trips, berry-picking, hiking, visiting the movies, baseball games, talent shows, restaurants, cooking, wreath-making, gardening and more! Come have fun while making a difference!
BASE pay starts at $16.25 an hour with no experience!
1-3 years of caregiver experience= $16.75 an hour
3+ yrs of experience=$17.25 an hour
(Higher compensation for applicants with CRMA, DSP and/or at least 1 year of caregiver experience!)
Responsibilities of a Caregiver:
Assist with bathing and toileting
Attend fun team outings!
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Companionship and conversation
Overall safety and wellbeing of clients
Qualifications Required for a Caregiver:
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Have a valid Driver's License & clean driving record
Successful clearance of background checks
Attend FUN outings and activities!
