---Job Description---- * Location: Richland, Washington * Type: Contract * Job #8095 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Controls Professional III position will be responsible for developing and implementing schedule and cost strategies for large, complex projects. The role involves coordinating, tracking, and executing project schedules and cost estimates, while providing technical direction and support to project managers. Key responsibilities include monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and ensuring accurate reporting of schedule, scope, and cost changes. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of project management principles are essential. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $76.03 - $106.17 Benefits: * Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Collaborate with project managers, nuclear development staff, contractors, and stakeholders to gather necessary data for accurate scheduling and cost identification. * Assist with the development of project scope and work with assigned project teams. * Prepare detailed level 1-5 project implementation schedules using P6. * Integrate project cost estimates and schedules to produce a logic-tied, resource-loaded cost flow projection. * Analyze schedule deviations, identifying and reporting on activities with potential impacts on cost and schedule. * Prepare reports comparing baseline schedules to progress schedules, including critical path analysis, resource/cost loading, manpower projections, submittals, impacts, and recovery plans. * Evaluate real-time cost and schedule performance to determine project status and financial condition. * Provide recommendations for corrective actions to mitigate cost and schedule overruns. * Work with project managers to develop an accurate Estimate to Completion (ETC) for predictable project performance and cost forecasts. * Enter data into various databases and ensure adequate configuration control during the project approval process and execution. * Perform consistency reviews, resolve findings, and identify lessons learned to support continuous improvement. * Attend project meetings, challenge/approval meetings, safety meetings, and regular staff meetings. * Follow established processes and procedures, and perform other tasks as delegated. Requirements: * Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 8 years of experience in a project controls/project management position in an industrial environment. * OR AA degree and 9 years of project controls / project management experience. * OR High School diploma or GED and 11 years of project controls / project management experience in lieu of degree. Formal training on Primavera P6 or another project management system is required. * Earned Value Management Certification (PMP, PBA, SP, CAPM, or RMP). * Experience in the nuclear industry, renewable energy, or construction. * Proficiency in Earned Value Management methodology and Project Controls. * Strong experience in variance analysis, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint. * Familiarity with Primavera P6 and professional project management principles. * Knowledge of project reporting and To view the full job description,
