Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Materials Engineer Intern in the following locations:

Materials Engineering Interns may work in one of Chevron’s US-based refinery operations (El Segundo, Pasadena, Pascagoula, Richmond, and Salt Lake) or the Chevron Technical Center (Richmond, Houston). Mobility is encouraged as there are many opportunities for Chevron engineers to work in a variety of assignments at different domestic locations. Typical assignments include providing Materials Engineering support to refining or upstream facilities. Your duties will include material selection, reviewing specifications, performing failure analyses, corrosion studies, and metallurgy studies. You will work under the direction of a senior materials engineer. You will be expected to provide a written and oral summary of your internship, highlighting your contributions and impact.

Required Qualifications:
- Students pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Metallurgical, Materials, or Corrosion Engineering.
Strong academic performance in core programs, communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are of extreme importance.
