Job Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift - $18/HR

Job Description

We are looking for an Operator to assist with operating our machines. The role involves feeding the machine with stacks of paper, monitoring the flow of ink and paper, and ensuring the quality of the stamped envelopes. You will also be responsible for boxing up envelopes, documenting quality checks, recording data, and assisting with machine setup and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Feed the machine with stacks of paper.

• Monitor the flow of paper and ink from the machine.

• Pick up large stacks of envelopes (50 at a time), straighten them, and box them.

• Check envelopes every load to confirm quality is accurate.

• Document quality checks and record data from checks.

• Assist with the setup and preventative maintenance (PM) on machines.

• 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm), with training on the 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Essential Skills

• Ability to read a tape measure, including 1/8th and 1/16th of inches.

• Machine operating experience, particularly with loading multiple parts or products onto a machine and operating two machines at once.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, twist, reach overhead, and bend for the duration of the shift.

• Attention to detail and quality experience, including checking and recording quality findings.

• Self-starter with an energized mindset to learn.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with production, assembly, and general labor experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
