Pediatric Home Service Respiratory Therapist in Roseville, Minnesota

Position: Respiratory Therapist Location: Minneapolis, MN Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Weekends/On-call: as determined by leadership THE POSITION: Utilize your clinical, communication and organization skills to serve medically complex children and their families. Facilitate safe transition for hospitalized children to their home. Train parents and caregivers on medical equipment. Manage and follow your own patient caseload. Set up diagnostic studies in the home and hospital. Develop personal, long-term relationships with your patients. THE QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Successful completion of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) examination within 1 year of employment Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required THE COMPANY: Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990. Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the clients we serve are age s birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.
