Education & Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience are acceptable. Candidates with associate degrees and/or backgrounds in human services, hospitality, food service, business, or related fields are preferred.
Must be certified in ServSafe OR must obtain ServSafe Certification within the first 6 months of employment.
Must pass all relevant criminal justice, including New York State Justice Center- Staff Exclusion List; New York State Central Register; local, state, and federal background checks and virtual fingerprinting; DRU SJODIN Nation Sex Offender Registry.
Skill Requirements:
Must have valid drivers license, insurability, and reliable transportation.
oMinimum personal auto coverage of 50,000 bodily per person/100,000 per accident/ 50,000 property
Excellent and professional communication, interpersonal, networking and collaboration skills.
Understanding of Trauma Informed Care and the ability to operate within an empathic, person-centered framework.
Must be able to operate small machinery such as pallet jack, pallet stacker.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in all operations related to CCA's Perishable Food Recovery Programs to glean nutrient-rich foods for our low-income communities.
Provide food access and distribution to the communities in Cattaraugus County.
Collaborate with CCA partners to enhance their capacity to provide safe, nutritious foods to low-income communities.
Assisted with daily operations of CCA's food pantry and soup kitchen, mobile pantries, and pantry warehouse, including stocking shelves, rotating food, providing customer service, customer intake, and cleaning.
Maintain accurate records of all gleaned foods, food distribution, provision of services, and other necessary program data, outputs, and outcomes.
Maintain program menus, service records, stock inventories, and operational and equipment logs and reports.
Ensure the safe collection, storage, tracking, recording, and prompt distribution of food by all ServSafe standards and CCA procedures.
Ensuring all work and activities align with the Hunger Protection and Nutrition Assistance Program and CCA's goals regarding the Healthy Cattaraugus NY Partnerships and the SDOH Accelerator Plan.
Ensure compliance with all funding requirements and standards, including, but not limited to, the New York State Department of Health, the New York State Department of Education, the New York State Financial System, the Summer Food Service Program, and CCA policies.
