Job Summary

Analyze, define, and develop the organization’s business process methods and practices. Assess requirements for internal business processes, ensuring compatibility with organizational strategic goals. Implement new processes, evaluate existing processes, and recommend optimal solutions and improvements. Partner with business process owners and management on strategic initiatives. Use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis. Research industry trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices. May train key users on new processes. Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline. Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. May require certification in specific applications.

Preferences

This position most values listening, sensitivity, and facilitating executive-level conversations. Experience with process mapping and strategic planning preferred. Project and/or product management experience is valued, but optional. Lean 6 Sigma, Scrum Master, Prosci Organizational Change Management also valued, but optional.
