Job Summary
The position is for a part-time Event Services, Event, and Venue Support staff.The position will work at University of Utah Athletic events and special events held at Rice-Eccles Stadium and the Jon M. Huntsman Center . It is a customer service type position and will involve working with large groups of people. Hours vary from week to week depending on number of events scheduled. Hours willinclude weekdays, nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays. Position reports to Check-In Manager but may be asked to assist other members of Stadium and Arena administration with a variety of tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting in check-in of staffing for football games, basketball games and gymnastics meets as well as special events held at Rice-Eccles Stadium or the Huntsman Center such as concerts, motor sports and festivals. Greet all staff coming to work events at the Stadium and Arena. Obtain proper to information and distribute proper credentials to allow staff to sign-in and gain access into the event. Enforce all policies and safety restrictions of the Stadium and University of Utah at events. Perform other light duties as needed including support assistance to administration staff as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
One year customer service or related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communications skills; and basic computer skills required.
