Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in San Antonio, Texas. This position is within the medical research industry where the successful candidate will be responsible for project-based work.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all patient and trial activities are captured and billed to the sponsor accurately

• Monitor and maintain accurate financial records of customer credit for each assigned trial

• Collaborate with the domestic or international AR Team to ensure sponsor payments are applied correctly

• Address any billing issues with the study budget and contracting team

• Conduct thorough study reconciliations, including application of any unapplied payments to the correct invoice

• Confirm all close out fees are captured and billed

• Construct final reconciliation Excel workbook for each assigned trial noting final, detailed balance due to/from sponsor

• Correspond with sponsor to identify and correct any discrepancies and request final payment

• Carry out Journal Entry bookings, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations

• Exhibit proficiency in using Excel for pivot tables and VLOOKUP's. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Skill in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger management

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries

• Demonstrated ability in using Excel

• Experience in performing Month End Close tasks

• Proficiency in using NetSuite

• Experience in using Oracle

• Ability to Ensure Deadlines are met

• Experience with Year End Closings

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Experience with Great Plains Accounting
