Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$64.960 - $83.820 - $102.680

What You Will Do
The Program Manager for Robotics Surgery is accountable for the ongoing development of the surgical robotic program and for maintaining the quality of service provided to the physicians and patients performing and receiving robotic surgery. This position is responsible for facilitation of the steering and meeting structures to ensure clear vision and goal setting is established and communicated to all levels of providers involved with carrying out and supporting robotic surgery. Accountabilities include internal and external education, refinement of clinical protocols, interdisciplinary team collaboration and communication. The Program Manager manages the development of outcome data communication strategies and data collection for the purpose of improving care and maintaining COE robotic surgery designation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field.
5 Years nursing experience through the continuum of care of robotic surgical patients.
California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in a healthcare related field.
2 Years leadership experience.
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) - Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) -PREFERRED
Essential Functions
AccountabilityReports to the executive facilitator for the Sharp Healthcare (SHC) Robotic Surgery Executive Steering Committee. Works in collaboration with the Physician Network Co-Directors.
Robotic Surgery Center/Network of Excellence CoordinationMeets regularly with entity surgery leadership and program coordinators to ensure standards of accreditation are met through practice and program standardization and physician collaboration.Works with entity leaders on developing structures, processes, and outcomes required to achieve and maintain Center/Network of Excellence criteria and performance expectation.Coordinates all document and data submission for all elements of the Surgical Review Corp accreditation programs for NOE/COE - Robotic Surgery.Ensures regulatory changes are communicated and implemented effectively and efficiently to all appropriate parties.
Data AnalyticsParticipates in developing and measuring key performance indicators to improving the SHC Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) Program.Coordinates data collection, analytics, and identification of performance improvement opportunities at entity and SHC level where appropriate.
LeadershipEffectively institutes change, supporting unit/s, level of care and organizational goals.Maintains a positive and productive relationship with the medical staff, peers, patients, families, directors and senior administrators.Identifies unit level of care, or organizational problems, develops and/or contributes to a plan to resolve problems. Implements and/or assists with plans to achieve resolution.Leads and/or participates on task forces for system integration.Participates in elevating SHC's robotic surgical programs on a local and/or national stage.Serves as an expert, resource and liaison for patients, providers, and staff.
Quality and ImprovementSeek to improve systems and processes that ultimately improve patient outcomes and staff performance.Participates in identification of process/practice assessment as it relates to robotic surgical care through the development of monitoring tools.Identifies and trends learning needs of staff related to robotic surgery and works with education resources within the units to assure needs are met.Assures that the robotic care pathways are implemented, evaluated, and updated.Assures delivery of quality patient care that meets all Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) standards.Identifies and trends the needs of the customers served within SHC robotic service line and implements action plans as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction.Generates ideas and insights for Robotics Surgery.
CommunityIdentifies and trends the needs of the customers served within SHC robotic service line and implements action plans as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction.Contributes to Sharp HealthCare’s organizational mission, vision, and values by understanding the needs of the community.and increasing the effectiveness of Sharp HealthCare meeting those needs.Serves as liaison between the community and Robotics Surgery team.
Facilitator of LearningDevelops and provides education to staff, patients, caregivers, and the community.Develops and presents educational programs to promote Sharp HealthCare, including educational symposiums, and physician-lead in-services.Participates in internal and external activities that expand knowledge, such as attendance at educational forums related to the robotics surgery.
