Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced A&P Mechanic to work primarily on Boeing 767 aircraft.
You will be responsible for the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components in accordance with company and manufacturer manuals, including policies, procedures, and orders.
Mechanics will be required to sign for work accomplished and must remain constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts as well as safe working conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment, and associated components.
Sign for work accomplished.
Remain constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and ensure safe working conditions.
Perform housekeeping duties, such as policing the work area and maintaining company property.
Complete tasks assigned by supervisors or higher management.
Exercise authority under RII provisions and report directly to the Director of Quality Control.
Attend all assigned company training classes.
Essential Skills
A&P License
Minimum 2-3 years of A&P experience, ideally in line maintenance on 737, 767, and 787 aircraft
Experience with 757/767 aircraft
Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods of time
Completion of DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen
Experience with Parts 121, 125, and 145
Heavy transport category aircraft experience
Valid passport or ability to obtain one
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a)
Work Environment
You will be working in a hangar on-site at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
Contractors can obtain a T-badge before getting a SITA badge, allowing them to start work pending fingerprint clearance.
You will primarily work on Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft.
The facility is shared with FedEx but is located on the 2nd floor of the building at 900 N Access Road, San Francisco, CA.

This is a 6 month Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
