Stryker Quality Inspector I - 1st Shift - $21.15/hr in Sandy Springs, Georgia

1st Shift: Mon – Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm

What you will do:

As the Quality Inspector is responsible for performing routine visual inspections of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned, according to detailed job instructions and procedures, as well as the following below:

  • Conduct dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies.

  • Interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.

  • Identify routine quality issues and resolves problems to meet quality requirements.

  • Work as part of the QA team, applies basic level inspector process knowledge, practices and procedures to standard routine tasks.

  • Inspect raw materials, components and finished products to ensure conformance to applicable specifications.

  • Perform quality control inspections in accordance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations / guidelines.

  • Participate in preparing all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items.

  • Support and participate in internal, external and Corporate audits and corrective action follow ups, as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Education or GED equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in Medical Device Field or relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of Quality Assurance concepts

  • Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications

  • Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers

  • Experience in a warehouse environment
